# Product Hunt launch domains, checked September 2026

Source: FundingWatcher's copy of Product Hunt launches (197,573 launches, November 2013
to September 2026) and a homepage check run on 23 September 2026. License: CC BY 4.0.

Random sample: 400 launches per launch year, 2014 to 2026, 5,200 in all, drawn from
181,079 distinct own domains (shared hosts such as vercel.app removed; each domain
counted at its first launch).

## Files

**launch_sample.csv** - one row per sampled launch: `launch_year`, `name`, `votes`
(upvotes), `domain`, `post_url`, `state`, `new_owner_kind` (gambling,
seo_spam_or_affiliate, adult_or_dating, other_business, domain_marketplace, gambling_at_collection; only when
state is "Someone else's site now"), `footer_year`, `page_title`.

**state_by_launch_year.csv** - count of each state per launch year, plus `sample`.

are model verdicts with lower precision.
